With boundless compassion, joy, and gratitude, the Vihara Dharma Hastabrata Publishing and Photography Team, along with all staff and volunteers of Vihara Dharma Hastabrata, through the Vihara Dharma Hastabrata Lotus Light Charity Society, organized a special charity event to celebrate the 82nd birthday of Grand Master Sheng-Fu Lee. Upholding the spirit of compassion and wisdom of their root lineage master, Grand Master Sheng-Fu Lee, they visited impoverished families in the Karawang region of West Java.
This event utilized the Dharma Mudita Buddhist Temple as the distribution location. The Yuanxintang Lotus Light Charity Association distributed 250 sets of essential supplies, each containing:
• 5 kg of white rice
• 1 kg of sugar
• 1 liter of cooking oil.
The event began with Yuanxintang Chairman Sj. Siani Sukardi formally handing over the supplies to the Dharma Mudita Temple representative, followed by a symbolic handover of the supplies to representatives of local impoverished families.
All recipient families were pre-selected through site visits by Yuanxintang Lotus Light Charity Association volunteers, and receipts were issued on June 28, 2026, to ensure the supplies reached those truly in need.
The Yuanxintang Lotus Light Charity Association extends its sincerest gratitude to all the benefactors who generously donated and supported this cause. We are grateful for your long-term support in promoting charitable causes and spreading the spirit of compassion and love for all beings through the True Buddha's teachings, allowing more people in need to feel warmth and care.
Finally, I sincerely dedicate all the merit accumulated from this event to my root lineage masters, Grand Master Lian Sheng and Guru Lian Xiang, praying that they may enjoy good health, long life, and that the Dharma wheel may turn eternally, benefiting countless sentient beings, with the Buddha's light shining everywhere, and the true Dharma long remaining in the world.
